Nova Scotia Provincial Firearms Office
The Nova Scotia Provincial Firearms Office administers the federal Firearms Act, on behalf of the Canada Firearms Centre, part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. This includes issuing firearm licenses for individuals (including minors), firearm business licenses, as well as authorizations to transport restricted and/or prohibited firearms and authorizations to carry.
Anyone who possesses a firearm in Canada must be licensed under the Firearms Act and their firearms must be registered.
