The Province of Nova Scotia is offering a reward in the amount of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the missing person case of Michael Gerald Steele.

Mr. Steele was last seen at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital visiting his mother on March 13, 2019. He is described as white, about five feet, eight inches tall and 155 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes.  

Investigators believe there are people who have information they have not offered to the police that could result in arrests and possible charges.

The reward is payable in Canadian funds and will be apportioned as deemed just by the Minister of Justice for the Province of Nova Scotia. Employees of law enforcement and correctional agencies are not eligible to collect this reward.
