Update November 19, 2007 - DDV Gold Ltd. submitted a Focus Report (PDF: 7.8mb) as requested by the Minister on April 10, 2007. At that time, the public was invited to submit comments on the Focus Report.

Update - On April 10, 2007 the Minister of Environment and Labour released a decision (PDF: 48k) on the proposed Undertaking. The Minister has determined that a Focus Report will be required.
Project Update
On December 8, 2009 the Minister authorized an extension for the commencement of work effective February 1, 2010 and expiring February 1, 2012. The Proponent must, on or before February 1, 2012, commence work on the Undertaking unless granted a written extension by the Minister.
Minister's Decision
On February 1, 2008 the Minister of Environment and Labour released a decision (PDF: 324k) concerning this review. The Minister has decided to approve the undertaking in accordance with Section 18(a) of the Environmental Assessment Regulations, pursuant to Part IV of the Environment Act. The undertaking has been approved subject to a number of conditions (PDF: 62k).
The proponent is required to obtain all other necessary approvals, permits or authorizations before commencing work on the undertaking.
