During Environment Week and throughout the year, there are many things we can do to make Nova Scotia one of the cleanest and most sustainable environments in the world. Nova Scotia Environment is focusing on 21 goals to help us achieve this by the year 2020. These goals are legislated in the Environmental Goals and Sustainable Prosperity Act passed in April 2007 and are found on our 2020 Fact Sheet (PDF: 105k).
