Submissions to Natural Resources Project - Closed

Voluntary Planning is pleased to report the immense interest shown by
Nova Scotians in the Natural Resources project. The submission deadline
of July 31st has passed and Voluntary Planning is no longer accepting
additional submissions. Hundreds of submissions have been received from
citizens across the province. To view submissions received, click here.
The volunteer members of the Natural Resources Citizen Engagement Committee
will work with Voluntary Planning staff to analyze the content received
in writing and through community meetings and plan to report back in
the fall.
Voluntary Planning would like to thank the public for its ongoing support and participation in the Natural Resources Project.
Voluntary Planning completes 27 Community Meetings on Natural Resources
June 20th, 2008Voluntary Planning and the volunteers on the Natural Resources Citizen Engagement Committee would like to thank all the Nova Scotians who participated in the 27 community meetings around the province. We recieved terrific contributions from some 2,000 participants.
If you did not get a chance to attend a meeting, there is still an opportunity to contribute your thoughts and views to the process. The committee is welcoming written contribution up till July 31, 2008.
Natural Resources Meeting Added in Guysborough
June 6th, 2008An additional community meeting for the Natural Resources project has been added. The meeting will take place in Guysborough and is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 at Guysborough Academy-Chedabucto Education Centre, 27 Green St..

Liverpool Meeting - Change of Venue
June 2nd, 2008Please be advised that the Voluntary Planning meeting on Natural Resources scheduled on June 11th, 6:30 to 9pm in Liverpool has had a change of venue. The new venue is the Liverpool Fire Hall, 520 Main Street.
