| 1. | Sort Pledge Sheets by Type of Donation (Cash/Cheque, Payroll, Visa/MasterCard). Note: It is important to keep donations in a secure preferably locked location |
| 2. | Total all donations by ($'s) and (#'s) by populating the Excel tracking sheet (example attached). |
| 3. | Deposit all money to Royal Bank via Deposit Slips provided to you. (You will receive this package in September). For tracking purposes, please write directly on the Deposit Slip if the money you are depositing is from a Special Event (Bake Sale, 50/50, etc) or from money that was raised via the Pledge Sheet donations. We ask this to ensure a clear record of how much was raised via Pledge Sheets and Special Events. |
| 4. | Record all information on the Campaign Report Envelope (example attached) and reconcile to Excel sheet. |
| 5. | Put Pledge Sheets and Deposit Slips into the Campaign Report Envelope. |
| 6. | Send Campaign Report Envelope to CJ Purdy, Department of Labour and Advanced Education, 5151 Terminal Road, Halifax. |
