How We Donate

Every year more than 1,600 provincial government employees choose to donate to the United Way. Your contributions stay in the community and help fund 55 agencies and over 100 programs.

How Your Dollars Make a Difference:

  • $50 per pay will help support over 200 youth in the inner city develop confidence and skills through sporting activities.
  • $40 per pay can be invested in programs to give teens who have been victims or perpetrators of violence, the opportunity to develop skills and help them make positive choices about their future.
  • $20 per pay can make cultural awareness and understanding a critical part of programming for organizations helping new Canadians integrating into our community.
  • $14 per pay will support special needs children under the age of five so they can have a smooth transition to elementary school.
  • $10 per pay helps empower residents in our community to become involved in their neighbourhood through Action for Neighbourhood Change.
  • $5 per pay helps fight senior citizen isolation by supporting programs where volunteer visitors help seniors stay connected to their community.
