Real Property Services Section - Accommodations
| Accommodations provides a management framework for
procurement and allocation of all office, warehouse, and other spaces
required by various Departments, Boards, Agencies, and Commissions of
government. Reviews all government accommodation requests and
makes recommendations regarding procurement of those requests; i.e.
verifying their requirements, calling of tenders or negotiating with
Landlords, arranging leasehold improvements and occupancy of space.

Accommodations is directly responsible for:
- ensuring the compliance of Accommodation and Furniture Standards
and the Government's procurement policies affecting tender and space management issues
as outlined in the Facilities Procurement Guide.
- acquisition and management of Government owned
and leased space requirements from office accommodations to Court
facilities, in accordance with Space Utilization Committee approvals.
(Form 1097 - Request for Space
and Form 1098 - Space Estimate Form) must be submitted to Space Committee for
approval). This responsibility entails integrating client's
requirements, negotiating and preparing tender documents, coordinating
design layouts, establishing time frames, managing job sites,
preparing appropriate leases, initiating rental payments, and
monitoring leased space to ensure Landlords comply with lease
requirements.
