New Realities, New Directions
New Realities, New Directions is Nova Scotia's multi-year strategy to strengthen the tourism industry. It recognizes the new realities of the competitive global tourism industry and sets new directions to ensure Nova Scotia's industry continues to be competitive and grow.
The strategy was launched at the 2006 TIANS Tourism Summit, the industry's annual conference. Since then, annual plans continue to guide government and the industry in implementing the overall strategy.
