Heritage Division Collections Management

The Senior Registrar, who is part of the Heritage Promotion & Development unit, advises, supports and provides assistance to staff carrying out collection management-related activities with the province's collection over one million artifacts and specimens, a collection managed for the people of Nova Scotia by the Heritage Division. The Senior Registrar also responds to inquiries from community and regional museums on a range of collection management functions such as acquisition, registration, documentation, loans, and deaccessioning.
