Learning Guide Launch — Citadel High School
On November 13, the Department of Education’s Mi’kmaq Liaison Office and the Office of Aboriginal Affairs announced a new video and a companion learning guide for Nova Scotia high schools.
The video follows the journeys of four Mi’kmaq youth who have found success on different paths in life. The youth highlighted include a veterinarian, a boxer, a professional hockey player and an RCMP officer. The materials will be distributed to grades 10 and 11 teachers for use in Mi’kmaq Studies 10 and Social Studies.
