Registry of Motor Vehicles - Mail / Drop Box

Your mail will be forwarded to any RMV location throughout the province, if you specify the location on the envelope.

Applicants requesting a photo driver's licence or a Nova Scotia photo identification card must appear in person at any Registry of Motor Vehicle office throughout the province.

Except the applications for photo driver's licences or Nova Scotia photo identification cards, all transactions may be submitted by mail.

Drop Box - Except the applications for photo driver's licences or Nova Scotia photo identification cards, all transactions may be submitted at the Drop Boxes located at any Registry of Motor Vehicles office throughout the province:

With the exception of Sydney, all work in drop boxes is sent by courier to Halifax on a daily basis to be processed.
