Application Process:
  The above office will accept applications from Medical Records Directors of hospitals for the position of Local Division Registrar of Births and Stillbirths. Call the office above for details.  The N.S. Deputy Registrar General of Vital Statistics must approve all applications and will issue a certificate to the Division Registrar.
Waiting Period:
  Approximately 4 weeks, provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received.

Additional Information:
  The Vital Statistics Section, Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations is responsible for the training and supplying of Division Registrars in Nova Scotia and the provision of supplies.
