Who Needs This Approval?
Anyone who wants to divide any area of land or consolidate two or more parcels of land in the Municipality of the District of Chester.

Application Process:
An applicant may obtain the form from the Development Officer or from the Municipal Administration Office.
Waiting Period:
3 to 4 weeks in simple cases, much longer if design of roads and services is difficult
Price & Payment:  (No tax is charged)

Application fee: $200

Plus Applicable Registry of Deeds Fees: $150.00
(This includes:
Registration of Notice of Approval of a Plan of Subdivision: $70.00,
Registration of Plan of Subdivision: $70.00, and
One Certified Copy of Plan: $10.00)

Registration of Deed: $70.00

Expiry & Renewal:
This approval is valid only for the dates specified. It is not renewable.
