Sewer Connection Permit

Who Needs This Permit?
Anyone who has a building generating sewage in the Municipality of the District of Chester, which building is within 60 feet of an approved Municipal system.

Application Process:
Fill in entire application and provide a sketch of the lot showing dimensions of all lines, names of adjacent streets, roads and properties.

Return to Municipality of the District of Chester at above address.

The application is reviewed by the Public Works Director and Office Staff to determine the amount of the deposit required. At that time, the person is informed either by telephone or in writing of the amount of the deposit.

Once the deposit has been received, the permit is issued. If the actual cost is less than the hook-up deposit, the difference will be refunded. If the cost is more than the deposit, the person is billed for the difference.
