Any organization wishing to have a special piece of equipment / device,
using gas, certified for use in Nova Scotia by the Canadian Standards
Association (CSA).

You can get an application from by:

a form from our website; or

If all requirements are met and the application is approved, a site
visit is scheduled.

| Waiting Period: |
The entire process may take from 3 to 10 weeks depending on
being able to schedule an inspection.
|
| Expiry & Renewal: |
The label does not expire but is non-transferable and is not
valid if the equipment is moved to a new site.
|
| Price: (no tax is charged)
|
$700 minimum deposit plus inspection costs for anything under 400,000
BTUs.
$1200 Minimum deposit plus inspection costs for anything above 400,000
BTUs.
Payment by Mail: Please pay by cheque or money order, made out to CSA
International. (see Where can you get ..., above).
