The completed application form can be mailed, faxed or brought to the
Alcohol & Gaming Division office (see addresses above).
An applicant can request a licence by phone, fax, mail, downloading from this website,or by visiting the Alcohol and Gaming Division office(s). The application is reviewed by staff to ensure that it is completed in its entirety. After review by the Division staff, the applicant is issued the appropriate licence or notified of its denial. |

| Expiry & Renewal: |

This licence is valid for 3 years. The renewal process is started by the Alcohol and Gaming Division, which will send a renewal form to the licence holder before the current licence expires. |

- Zoning Permit, Municipality
- Labour and Workforce Development Office of the Fire Marshal
clearance or Halifax Regional Municipality Fire Inspection Services
Division clearance. Updated fire clearance is required every year.
- Drive-In Theatres are required to provide Labour and Workforce Development Welding, High Pressure Certification.
