Itinerant Performer Licence

Who Needs This Licence?
Anyone who intends to offer an itinerant performance in Nova Scotia, that is one which travels from place to place on a circuit (such as a circus).

Application Forms & Process:
To get an application form:
  1. Download:  Amusement Form

    Please note:  These forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF), which requires the FREE Adobe® Acrobat® Reader. If you do not have the Reader, you can download the program FREE of charge.
     
  2. Or phone, visit, write or E-mail one of the contact sources listed above. The appropriate application kit will be supplied by mail, or may be picked up by the applicant.
The completed application form can be mailed, faxed or brought to the Alcohol & Gaming Division office (see addresses above). 

An applicant can request a license by phone, fax, mail, downloading from this website, or by visiting the Alcohol and Gaming Division office(s). The application is reviewed by staff to ensure that it is completed in its entirety. After review by the Division staff, the applicant is issued the appropriate license or notified of its denial.
Waiting Period:
3 to 5 business days
Provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received
Expiry :
It is not renewable.
