The appropriate application kit will be supplied by mail, or may be
picked up by the applicant.
The completed application form can be mailed, faxed or brought to the
Alcohol and Gaming Division office (see addresses above).
The application is reviewed by staff to ensure that it is completed in its entirety. The applicant is mailed a lottery licence indicating the dates, times and location of operation of the Games of Chance Lottery.

This licence is valid for the period as stated on the license. It is not renewable. The licence holder must submit a new application for each separate lottery fundraising program they intend to operate. |

| | 1) For games of chance offering merchandise prizes: No Fee
2) For games of chance operated by a charitable or religious organization offering a cash prize: $10.85 per game per day
3) For games of chance operated by a commercial carnival offering a cash prize; $10.85. Per game per day Bingo, cash or merchandise prizes, $5.43 per game per day;
4) "Casino" or "Monte Carlo" events: Fee: $27.14 per day |

Games of Chance Lotteries can only be operated during the dates, times and at the location stipulated on the licence. The licence is in force only for the period stated on the licence.
The Alcohol and Gaming Division can issue a Games of Chance licence to an applicant to operate a "casino" or "monte carlo" night. Cash casinos are not permitted and the applicant must ensure "play money" or "chips" are used at the gaming tables and wheels. At the conclusion of the event, an auction must be held to dispose of merchandise prizes or participants may purchase tickets with their "play money" or "chips", which are then placed in a drum for a draw for merchandise prizes. It is not permissible for anyone at anytime to exchange their "play money" or "chips" for official currency. |
