| Who Needs This Registration? |
|
Anyone who wants to give notice of a trust or interest in
a mineral right in Nova Scotia must file a caveat (that is, a notice) with
the Registry of Mineral and Petroleum Titles of the N.S. Department of Natural
Resources. |

An application form (Form 3, Caveat) can be obtained
from the Registry of Mineral
and Petroleum Titles of the N.S. Department
of Natural Resources. When completed, it is submitted to the same office.
No notification will be given unless a request is made by the applicant.
The caveat will show up in a search of titles. |
