Mineral Licence Summary of Agreement Registration

Who Needs This Registration?
Anyone with a Mineral Licence who wants to enter into option agreements to raise necessary funds to conduct programs. The Summary of Agreement summarizes such agreements. Agreements leading to transfer are filed in the Registry of Mineral and Petroleum Titles as they pertain to mineral rights, or other rights.

Application Forms & Process:
An application form (Form 2, Summary of Agreement) can be obtained from the Department's nearest Regional or Area Office, or the Registry of Mineral and Petroleum Titles Section of the Department. When completed, it is submitted to the same office.

No notification will be given unless a request is made by the applicant. A search of titles will show the Summary of Agreement was recorded.

Waiting Period:
None
Expiry & Renewal:
The agreement is valid for the period stated in it. It is not renewable.

Price:  (No tax is charged)
Initial Application and Annual Renewal:  $11.20 for registration of any document affecting the title of a mineral right.

Related Requirements:
Registration with the Registry of Joint Stock Companies.
