| | Anyone who wants to export wildlife from Nova Scotia which is listed
on CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species).

| Application Forms & Process: |
| | Application can be made at the nearest Local
or Area Office of the N.S. Department of Natural Resources or to the
Director of Wildlife.
If the application is approved, the applicant will be notified by the
provincial CITES Management Authority.

| Expiry & Renewal: |
| | This permit is valid for 1 month from the date it is issued. It is not
renewable.

- This permit is required for the international movement of wildlife
products for those species named in the Convention on International
Trade in Endangered Species.
- Some examples of listed species which are native to Nova Scotia includes:
Black Bear, River Otter, Bobcat, Lynx and all birds of prey.
