| Who Needs This Concession? |
| | Anyone who wants to carry on any sort of business, or use a campsite
or other park area in Nova Scotia for monetary gain, must be successful
in a tendered concession award process.

The sole method used by the Province to grant this approval is to award
a concession to a vendor through a public tender process. Concessions
operate from facilities owned by the Province in selected parks.
Other types of ventures or services are not authorized. Applicants should
notify the Area Supervisor of their interest in bidding on future concession
tenders.

| Waiting Period: |
| | 180 days, provided that all the items which must accompany the application
have been received.
|
| Expiry & Renewal: |
| | The approval does expire. Specific concessions are awarded for multiple
year periods and when they expire, they again go to tender.
|
| Price: (No tax is charged) |
| | Fee based on bid
Note: A deposit of $100 is required and held for the term of the contract.

| Related Requirements: |
| | Operator must possess all other health and safety permits appropriate
for the nature of the business.
