Anyone who wants to transport raw milk by milk tank truck,
from dairy farms, to a milk processor in Nova Scotia.

| Application Forms
& Process: |
An application form can be obtained from the Dairy Farmers
of Nova Scotia. When completed, it is submitted to the General Manager,
along with the applicable fee.
If all requirements and specific regulations regarding the transportation
of milk are met and the application is approved, the licence will be
sent to the applicant by mail.

| Waiting Period: |
Approximately 2 weeks, provided that all the items that must
accompany the application have been received.
|
| Expiry & Renewal: |
This licence is valid for 3 years from the day it is issued,
and is renewable.

Initial application or renewal: $15
Please pay by cheque or money order made out to the Dairy Farmers of Nova
Scotia.

| Related Requirements: |
- Before an application can be approved, all equipment involved is
subject to inspection by the Food
Safety Section of the Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture.
- All licensed transporters must have a valid transport agreement
with the Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia.
