Waiting Period:

Provided that all the items that must accompany the application have been received
(Please allow several extra days for mail delivery.)

  1. The marriage registration itself is free. The fee for the marriage ceremony is set by agreement between the Clergy and couple being married.
  2. The fee is set by the Crown if the marriage is performed by a Judge or Justice of the Peace in chamber (courtroom).
  3. If the marriage is performed by a Judge or Justice of the Peace anywhere other than in a courtroom, then the fee for the ceremony is set by agreement between the Judge and the couple being married.
