Single Trip Fuel Permit

Who Needs This Permit?

Any carriers (trucking companies and bus lines) who want to enter Nova Scotia and are not members of the International Fuel Tax Agreement.

These permits are purchased from approved permit issuing companies.

Expiry & Renewal:
This permit expires at the end of the trip.
Price & Payment:

Payment arrangments must be made with the company issuing the permit. The company applies a service charge to the basic permit fee. Payment methods vary depending on the Permit company. Some companies may accept cheques or major credit cards, while other may require you to have a prepaid account.
