Licence. The license is required to ensure that all requirements of
the taxi bylaw are adhered to and are satisfied. |

Applications for a Taxi Company License, Taxi Cab License,
Taxi Driver's License may be obtained from the Bylaw Enforcement Officer,
Town of Yarmouth. Applicants are notified in writing or by phone. |

The permit is valid only for the time period specified on
it. Once it expires, it is invalid, and you have to buy a new one. |

Driver's Abstract from the Registry
of Motor Vehicles
Medical exam within 1 year of the application. If the applicant already
has a Class 4 Nova Scotia Driver's Licence, then that is all that is required
to operate the taxi.
