Application Forms & Process:
 

You can get an application form by visiting the Springhill Town Hall or you can have one mailed to you, by calling or writing the office above.

Please submit the completed application, by mail or in person, to the Development Officer, at the address listed above. The Deed and /or survey plan must accompany the application form.

Along with the application form, you must submit the applicable fee, twelve (12) copies of the Subdivision/Consolidation Plan, an affidavit of value and warranty deed, if applicable. You must also include an assessment report (contact Environment and Labour for a list of licensed persons) of the lot respecting its suitability to support an on-site sewage disposal system if not served by the town sewer system.

If the application is approved, you will be notified by mail or you can inquire, in person, at the Springhill Town Hall.
 

Waiting Period:
  The application is normally processed within 30 business days, once all items which must accompany the application have been received, and all requirements are met.

Price & Payment:  (No tax is charged)
 

Consolidation / Subdivision Approval: $50

Registry of Deeds fees:
Plan: $170
Deed: $70

If you are proposing more than 4 lots or a new public road, a deposit bond is required.

Payment at counter: Please pay by cash, cheque or debit card, made out to the Town of Springhill.

Payment by mail: Please pay by cheque made out to the Town of Springhill.
