Sewer Connection Permit

Who Needs This Permit?
  Anyone who constructs a building in the Region of Queens Municipality that is 100 feet or less from a central sewer system.

  You can get an application form from the office listed above. Complete the form, and submit it to the office listed above, along with the necessary documents & information.

After the application has been reviewed by staff, you will be notified if it has been approved.

  This permit does not expire.
 
Price: (No tax is charged)
 
  1. A connection fee of $ 90.00 to be charged to the owner of each property connecting into a new sewer main while the system is being installed initially.
  2. A connection fee of $ 525.00 to be charged to the owner of each property connecting into an existing sewer main.
     
Related Requirements:
  None
 
Additional Information:
  Where a sewer connection is going to be made, this permit must be issued before a Building Permit can be issued.

  Respecting Connections to Sewer Systems, Region of Queens Municipality's Administrative Order, adopted September 21st, 1998.

A Bylaw Respecting the Regulation of Discharges to the Public Sewer Systems, Region of Queens Municipality's Bylaw No. 11, adopted May 22nd, 2001.
