You can get an application form by contacting the office above. The completed
application, along with the following items listed below, plus the applicable
fee (See Price below), can be dropped off
in person, or mailed to the Town Office.
Documentary evidence of licensing
Proof of safety inspection of vehicles to be used for collecting garbage
Documentary evidence that each vehicle is properly insured to a minimum
of $2,000,000 PL & PD
If all requirements are met, and the application is approved, the applicant
is notified by phone or by mail.

The application is normally processed withinin 30 days from the date
it is received.
(Please allow several extra days for mail delivery.)

This Permit is valid from April 1 of one year, to March 31 of the
next. It can be renewed. Note: it is the responsibility of
the Licence holder to contact the Town before it expires; NO NOTICE of
renewal will be sent out by the Town.

Initial Application and Annual Renewal: $200
Payment can be made by cash, cheque or money order, made out to the Town
of Parrsboro.
