You can apply in person or by mail. Along with your completed application,
please include twelve (12) copies of the Subdivision/Consolidation Plan,
affidavit of value and warranty deed (if applicable). Also include an
assessment report of the lot respecting its suitability to support an
on-site sewage disposal system if not served by the town sewer (contact
Environment and Labour for a list of licensed persons),
and attach the appropriate fee. (See Price,
below...)
After all required information and fees have been submitted, and the
application has been reviewed by staff, the confirmation will be sent
to you by mail or you can pick it up at the town office.

The Confirmation is normally processed within 30 business days, once
all items which must accompany the application have been received, and
all requirements are met.
(Please allow several additional days for return mail
delivery.)

Consolidation / Subdivision Approval: $50
Plus applicable Registry of Deeds Fees: $170.00
(This includes the following:
Registration of Notice of Approval of a Plan of Subdivision: $70.00,
Registration of Plan of Subdivision: $70.00, and
3 Certified Copies of Plan: $10.00 each)
Registration of Deed: $70.00
A deposit bond is required if someone is proposing more than 4 lots on
a new public road.
Payment at counter: Please pay by cash or cheque, made out to
the Town of Parrsboro.
Payment by mail: Please pay by cheque made out to the Town of
Parrsboro.
