You can apply in person or by mail.
When you apply, you have to do the following:
- Properly identify the property (submit Property Mapping illustrating
the property and PID number);
- Attach the appropriate fee. (See Price, below...);
and
- Supply a reason for wanting this Confirmation to ensure that the Confirmation
will satisfy your request.
After all required information and fees have been submitted, and the
application has been approved by staff, the Confirmation will be sent
to you by mail.

If you apply in person, this Confirmation can usually be issued within
2 business days. If you apply by mail, it will normally be processed within
2 business days after it has been received.
