When applying for this permit, an application
form must be completed. You can get an application form at the Town
Office. Complete the form, and submit it, along with the appropriate
fee and all required information. Building drawings may be required.
Note: In some cases, before a this permit can be issued, applicants must
first get a Development Permit from the Planning
Department, Municipality of the District of Chester.
Applicants will be notified by phone or by mail when a decision has been
made.

Generally within 1 week (after approval of the
Development Permit, if required).

| Expiry & Renewal: |

This permit is valid for 1 year from its date
of issue. It can be renewed each year. Application for renewal must be made
in writing.

Initial issuance: $ 10
Renewal: $ 10
Payment is by cash, cheque or money order made out to the Town of Mahone
Bay.

The following approvals or permits may be required
before this permit can be issued:
- Building Permits cannot be issued in zoned areas within the Town until
a Development Permit has been first
issued.
- Permission may be needed from the Town Municipal Public Works Department
(for such things as driveway locations, etc.)
