replace, relocate or add to any structure (including advertising signs),
and anyone who wants to make any change or alteration in the use made of
land or structures, within the Town of Mahone Bay.

You can get an application form at the Town
Office (see address above). Complete the form, and submit it, along
with the appropriate fee and all required information.

Approximately 2 weeks ordinarily

| Expiry & Renewal: |

This permit is valid for 1 year from date of
issue. It can be renewed.
|
| Price & Payment: |
| |
Application fee: $ 30 for values under $2,000
$ 50 for values over $2,000
Payment is by cash, cheque or money order make out to the Town of Mahone
Bay.

| Related Requirements: |

The following approvals or permits may be required
before this permit can be issued:
- Referrals to Town of Mahone Bay for approvals of: sewer connections
and driveway locations;
- Subdivision approval is sometimes needed;
- If you are not connecting to a sewer system, you may need approval
for the installation of a Sewage
Disposal system [or septic tank] from the Nova Scotia Environment
and Labour.
