Who Needs This Permit?
  Anyone who wants to commence or change the use of land, or erect, alter or change the use of any building or structure.

Application Forms & Process:
 

You can get an application by visiting, phoning, faxing or writing the municipal office listed above. When completed, it is submitted to the same office.

If all requirements are met and the application is approved, the permit is mailed to the applicant.
 

Waiting Period:
  First Application: 3 to 10 business days

Renewal: 3 to 10 business days

(Please allow several extra days for mail delivery.)

  Free
 
Expiry & Renewal:
  This permit is valid for 1 year from the date it is issued. It can be renewed. Renewal is not
automatic; it is the responsibility of the permit holder to contact the municipality before it
expires.
