An application form can be obtained from the municipal office
listed above. When completed, it must be submitted to the same office, along
with the applicable fees.
If all requirements are met and the application is approved, the permit
is issued to the applicant.

This permit is normally issued right away, once all items
which must accompany the permit have been received and all requirements
have been met.

Applicable Registry of Deeds Fees: $150.00
(This includes:
Registration of Notice of Approval of a Plan of Subdivision: $70.00,
Registration of Plan of Subdivision: $70.00, and
One Certified Copy of Plan: $10.00)
Registration of Deed: $70.00
Payment can be made by cheque, made payable to the Town of Clark's Harbour.

The permit is valid only for the time specified on it. Once
it expires, it is invalid, and you have to buy a new one.

The following approvals may be required before a Subdivision Approval
can be granted:
- If you are not connecting to a sewer system, you may need approval
for the installation of an Sewage Disposal System [or septic tank] from
the Nova Scotia Environment and Labour.
- If you want to erect a structure within 100 metres of the centerline
of a public highway, or if you want to create a new access to a property
from a public highway, you will need to get a Building Near a Highway
and Access to Property Permit from the N.S. Department of Transportation.
