You can apply for this permit at the office listed above. You do not
have to apply in person; someone may apply on your behalf, provided that
they have a signed document from the owner giving them authority to do
that.
When you apply, you must provide the correct civic address of the property
on which the fence is to be erected, so that the permit can be tagged
to the correct property.
You pay the fee when you apply (see Price & Payment,
below).
After the appropriate fees have been submitted, and the application has
been reviewed by the Building Official, the applicant will be notified
by mail.

Normally, this permit is approved within 1 business
day. |
| Expiry & Renewal: |
| |
This permit is valid for 1 year from the date
it is issued. It can be renewed. Renewal is not automatic; it is the responsibility
of the permit holder to contact the office before it expires. |
