An Occupancy Permit is required for the initial occupancy
of a building or part thereof, or when the occupancy classification of a
building or part thereof is changed in the Municipality of Barrington. |

The Occupancy Permit is obtained by requesting an inspection
of the construction, "Inspection 5.1c of the Building Code Regulations".
The permit will be issued when the construction meets the requirements of
the National Building Code as it relates to safety. |
| Waiting Period: |

The Building Inspecting Department will carry out the inspection
within 48 hours of notice of the required inspecting, and will notify the
applicant within two to three days. |

There is no fee for an Occupancy Permit. Also, no bond or
deposit required as a condition of application or approval. |

Final approval of the on-site sewage disposal system by Environment
