Terms & Conditions of Use

The NSBR Online Service is provided by Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations as a free service where applications for various government licences and registrations may be completed online and any associated fees remitted at the same time.  Users who have subscribed to the NSBR Online Service may also view information regarding their business, submit online requests to update their business information and are bound by the Terms and Conditions of Subscription.

 

In order use the NSBR Online Service the user shall abide by the following Terms and Conditions of Use:

 

  1. The user shall not use the NSBR Online Service unless they are authorized to submit transactions of behalf of the business named on the transaction application.

  2. The user shall provide information that is factual, correct and complete to the best of the user’s knowledge.

  3. The user acknowledges that submission of an application and associated payment of fee, if any, does not constitute approval of the application by the Nova Scotia Business Registry or by the government programs on behalf of whom the NSBR is collecting application data and associated fees.

  4. The user acknowledges that the Province of Nova Scotia may from time to time, in its sole discretion, amend these Terms & Conditions of Use.  The Province of Nova Scotia shall notify the user of any amendments by displaying the date on which they were last amended at the time of entry to the NSBR Online Service.   Continued Use of the NSBR Online Service, after such notification, shall constitute the user’s acceptance of the amended Terms & Conditions of Use.
