The Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) of Nova Scotia provides workplace accident insurance to both workers and employers. The WCB provides workers who are injured on the job with financial and health-care benefits, rehabilitation services and return-to-work assistance.  Employers are protected from paying full accident costs and being sued as a result of workplace accidents.
