Accessible Transportation Assistance Program

The Accessible Transportation Assistance Program (ATAP) provides funding to community and public transit organizations across the Province.

The program helps community and public transportation organizations purchase accessible vehicles or modify existing vehicles.

The program will provide up to 50 per cent of total capital cost to a maximum of $50,000 for new or $10,000 for used vehicles.

Eligible recipients include:
• nonprofit community organizations or groups
• private sector with restrictions
• municipal public transit services
• private sector providing services on behalf of the municipality

All funds for the 2011-12 Accessible Transportation Assistance Program have been committed.

Please download the application to your computer and fill it out. Once the application is completed, please send an electronic version to dimockgm@gov.ns.ca

Please note: There is a check list of required information on the last page of the application. This information can be scanned and e-mailed to dimockgm@gov.ns.ca or mailed to the address below.
