The intent of this study is to determine a means to assure that
contradictions between the requirements of the NBC and the Nova
Scotia Building Code Regulations (NSBCR) are removed. It is the
intent that the two sets of requirements be uniform in their intent
and application. It is the intent that this project determine
a harmony between these two sets of requirements which will be
sustainable given limited resources to maintain the Regulations.
