Finding Care Outside Your Home

Seniors sometimes find themselves in circumstances in which the care they require cannot be adequately provided in the home. Long-term care facilities, commonly referred to as "nursing homes" or "homes for the aged", are regulated by the Nova Scotia government. Applications and admission to these facilities are handled through Continuing Care Nova Scotia.
