Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations operates county Registries
and regional Land Information Centres across Nova Scotia to register and
provide public access to land-ownership information.
Property maps and property information reports can be accessed and printed
via computer terminals in Land
Information Centres throughout Nova Scotia. You can find property
information for any part of the province. If the owner's name is known,
the provincial database can be searched in seconds. If the owner is unknown,
a graphical search can be activated by pointing at a computer-drawn map
of the province and windowing on the area until the exact property is
reached.
Land-ownership and related information can also be accessed through Property
Online, an Internet browser application that provides online access,
from any computer. Corporate users who need land ownership information
on a regular basis will find this subscription service particularly useful.
A digital property product is also available, this digital series includes
property lines and ownership information and covers the entire province.
Whether you are interested in digital data, online information or hardcopy
map products, our staff is ready to help.
