Can the tenant leave personal property in the premises after the tenancy has ended?

No, the tenant is responsible to remove all items from the premise.

Can the landlord hold or get rid of the tenant's personal property?

No, the landlord is to apply for permission to dispose of the items unless it is unsanitary or unsafe.

What happens if the tenant leaves personal property in the premises after the end of the tenancy?

The landlord is to file the prescribed form with the residential tenancies office requesting consent to dispose of the abandoned possessions.
