Starting with the 2007 tax year, Nova Scotia graduates can apply for the Graduate Tax Credit directly on their Income Tax Return. Provincial certificates are no longer necessary. Just attach a copy of your diploma to your paper return or, if you are filing electronically keep all your documents in case the Canada Revenue Agency asks to see them.
