Description of Organization: We research current legislations regarding any medical-related activities within Nova Scotia in order to better prevent malpractice amongst medical professionals. We do this to ensure that the innocent people of Nova Scotia are not deeply affected by the mistakes of a professionals' actions.
We will not point fingers at anyone, but we will put our focus on improving the medical system, and not any individuals or groups of doctors.
As far as financial matters go, we have not yet reached that point, but we will at some point search for funding, at some level, in the future. |
Description of Membership: Our group consists completely of volunteers. We have plenty of supporters, most of whom have been affected by medical malpractice. One cannot determine the value of each victims' story, support or emotions towards such a topic. We rely completely on the time put in by our supporters and the word that they spread towards our cause.

Description |

We will extensively read the legislations in the following areas:
Medical Act,
Motor Vehicle Act,
Unemployment Insurance Act and
Social Services
And we will decide on which areas to concentrate our focus on. |

We will, hopefully with funding, provide awareness to the widespread problem of medical malpractice and work on realistic goals to present careful medical "safeguards" to the government. Whether it gets done in the six months or not, it will be done. |
