Description of Organization:
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 625 dispatches Construction Electricians and Apprentices to signatory Contractors. It trains it's members in all the latest technology and methods in it's Training Center in Halifax. The Union constantly strives to increase the number of represented Electrical workers and signatory Employers in Mainland Nova Scotia. The Local Union has been actively representing the rights of Electrical Workers since 1908.

Description of Membership:
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 625 represents Over 1000 Electrical Construction workers and Apprentices as well as manufacturing and Maintenance employees.It supplies the workforce for all signatory Electrical Contractors conducting business in Mainland Nova Scotia. It negotiates Collective Agreements with The Construction Management Bureau , Surrette Battery, and Hersheys Chocolates.
