Description of Organization:
The Canadian Payday Loan Association (CPLA) represents the majority of licensed payday lenders in Canada. CPLA works to ensure payday loan companies hold themselves to a higher standard of responsible service and to help customers make informed financial decisions CPLA is the national trade association for companies that provide Canadians with short-term loans or payday advances in small amounts to help cover unanticipated expenses. All members of the Canadian Payday Loan Association's Board of Directors may perform volunteer lobbying at any point, except for Norm Bishop who is registered as Consultant Lobbyist, and Stan Keyes who is registered as In-house Organization Lobbyist.

The Canadian Payday Loan Association represents large, intermediate, small, and single businesses that operate payday loan stores in Canada.
