CFFI is an indirect Canadian subsidiary of Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. As a part of CFFI's efforts to identify green hydrogen production opportunities, it is meeting with public office holders across Canada and negotiating agreements with First Nations communities. It is also communicating with governments regarding energy solutions.
 


Description
As part of Canada Fortescue Future industries Ltd.'s Canada-wide efforts to identify investments in green hydrogen production opportunities, engagement with a cross-section of the country's public sector, including Nova Scotia is underway. This engagement is focused on understanding Nova Scotia's interest in green hydrogen production from renewable electricity sources and refining the engagement accordingly. The company is seeking to develop business relationships with Nova Scotia, with a view to securing future contracts in the green hydrogen production space, and to influence the ongoing development of Nova Scotia's hydrogen strategy to secure a favorable investment climate for CFFI. The company is also seeking opportunities to develop Crown land.   View
